Job Summary:
The Area Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the designated centers within a region. The Area Supervisor focuses on sales, lead generation and conversion. The Area Supervisor is responsible for the highest standards of service, operational excellence and professionalism in his/her assigned centers.
This position is Exempt and reports to the District Manager. He/she has direct responsibility for the Center Managers within their designated region.
Job Duties:
Manage to regional and individual store budgets according to the stated goals; meet or exceed sales objectives.
Work closely with the District Manager, other Area Supervisors in the market, Mobile Counselors, Mobile Sales Managers, and other corporate resources to optimize performance, implement business initiatives and deliver results.
Responsible for lead generation as well as developing, maintaining and closing rates; liaise with District Manager, Mobile Sales Managers, National Sales Manager and the Regional Manager of Lead Generation to grow lead sources and volume.
Drive operational excellence within the centers, sharing and implementing best practices from store to store.
Optimize sales penetration within the centers through a coordinated effort with local PR, social media, B2B and local marketing.
Recruit, retain and motivate staff in each center. Develop staff and coordinate a succession planning model.
Deliver corrective action and coaching to employees as needed in accordance with high standards of professionalism and performance.
Participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews with regional management staff.
Support semi-annual cross regional audits.
Report to District Manager and Operations Director(s) about overall business performance through defined metrics.
Work with new store set up team for new center openings, renovations and closings.
Uphold the MWCC Performance Standards - see attached.
Any other duties as assigned by management.
Experience and Education Requirements:
Minimum of two (2) years experience as a multi-unit manager for retail.
Minimum of six (6) years overall experience in retail commission management and sales.
Management skills including hiring, performance management, coaching and training.
Proven track record of driving sales and maximizing market potential preferably in a multi-unit environment.
Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail environment.
Strong sense of ownership and personal accountability; ability to hold others accountable to Company standards and expectations.
Presentation skills and a proven track record of growing sales and driving sales as a manager.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills especially proficiency in Excel (pivot tables), Power Point, Word, Internet Explorer and Operating Systems.
Job Requirements:
Ability to travel throughout assigned region as necessary.
Possess a valid and active drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
Available to work nights and weekends.
Available to work flexible hours including day, evening and weekend hours.
