Description:
Position is for programmer that specializes in creating highly interactive & dynamic web pages as part of a complex web based application and has a passion for great UI design.
Responsibilities:
? UI design, interaction & navigation of web based applications ? Participate in design sessions with non-technical managers, guiding usability, workflow, composition, and site hierarchy to translate their requirements into a cutting edge web experience ? Coordinate with a graphic designer to develop conceptual diagrams, visual mockups ? Build interfaces capable of demonstrating functionality as defined in design discussions
Skills/Experience:
? Highly skilled with DHTML, JavaScript, CSS using Web Forms in Visual Studio ? Experience with C#, Ajax Control Toolkit, & T-SQL to the degree that is necessary to develop quasi-functional pages ? Evaluating & integrating third party UI Components e.g. graphing or rendering libraries ? Cross browser support/compatibility including mobile devices ? Experience with Photoshop a plus
Interview process will consist of initial phone with IT Director, a challenging technical skills test, and in person meeting with the manager acting as business stakeholder.
