Our University Foundation invites applicants for the position of, Assistant Athletics Director, Executive Director of the Athletic Club. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Athletics Development, this position is a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for the strategic development, execution, and management of the annual fund in accordance with NCAA, IRS, University Athletic Association and University Foundation rules and regulations. Candidates should have a keen understanding of the applicable uses of social networking, data analytics and website design and management. Candidates should also understand the principals and applications of market research, volunteer recruitment and leadership; and effective cultivation, retention and acquisition strategies. Effective written and oral communications skills are critical. The position oversees events programming, including, but not limited to: football and basketball game activities; coaches caravan; golf tournaments; hall of fame; signing day event; Athletics Director dinner; and annual gifts to donors. The purpose of the Athletic Club is to enhance the overall academic and athletic experience for over 500 University student-athletes.
Requirements
Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience, or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience.
Salary commensurate with experience and education.
