Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts. Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Knowledge of business process modeling techniques and common business models (e.g. Order to Cash cycle). Knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to different circumstances (e.g. HIPAA).
CIBER is looking to hire a Senior Business Analyst with 5 years of experience. Seeking a business analyst with stong UML experience to assist with an Enterprise Content Management Application, while demonstrating best practices in real-time. Interested in employee to bring demonstrated experience facilitating meetings and drafting use cases for developers. Mentor level experience and data management experience is key.

Qualifications:

The Senior Business Analyst (BA) will interact directly with key stakeholders in the business and play an instrumental role in defining and managing business requirements. The BA will also work closely with the Solution Architect and Technical Architect to drive successful execution of IT projects. By working as an advocate of the business in the technical process, the BA will co-own development and execution of test strategy with the Quality Analyst. The position requires a broad range of skills and the ability to step in to different roles depending on the size and scope of an engagement. A systems implementation background and general consulting skills are desired. Passion for software and attitude to view complex information in simple steps is necessary.
* Translate business requirements to technical designs.
* Create appropriate models for technical designs.
* Review developers' detailed designs, and developers' code
* Develop critical sections of application with focus on high performance, and maintainability.
* Dialogue with other designer/architect about best approach.
* Work closely with other teams supporting interfacing systems.
