Responsibility for preparing and reviewing operational and financial results and reviewing proposed land acquisitions for assigned markets.
-Assess and communicate operational and financial results, issues, trends, long term forecasts and all other relevant financial issues. -Develop and prepare financial reports for the divisional leadership team to assist in effectively managing the business -Function as a financial consultant for divisional leadership to investigate and resolve issues -Review feasibilities as submitted by Divisions -Review potential land acquisitions -Assist in due diligence process for acquisitions and/or mergers -Assist with implementation and field coordination of financial processes and policy (ie., land basis allocation methodology) -Ensures appropriate staffing to meet department needs -Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent -Provides staff developmental opportunities through identification of internal and external training opportunities -Creates opportunities for employee growth and provides continuous coaching to develop subordinates
Requirements: Degree in Accounting CPA Required Minimum 5 years of supervision Experience on one of the major ERP systems Prior experience at the division controller level
