We are currently seeking a skilled Director of Pharmacy to work with hospital executives, directors and physicians, leading Pharmacy activities. As a leader in this highly visible role, the Director of Pharmacy will rely upon a thorough understanding of the Pharmacy operations and will establish quality improvement, fiscal, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives in conjunction with upper management while building relationships among doctor, patient, clinical products and the delivery of quality patient care. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities in hospital pharmacy according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and State and Federal laws. The Director recommends innovations in the practice and function of the hospital pharmacy to Administration and carries out mutually agreed upon programs. This individual will also serve as a change agent, promoting change to facilitate quality cost effective patient care.

Qualifications
EDUCATION B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
EXPERIENCE Minimum of 3+ years supervisory or leadership experience preferred in acute hospital setting.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE Current pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy Current consultant pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy and any other additional license or certification required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
