Enterprise Applications Executive
Threshold Placement Services, Inc., is seeking, for the Greater Central Florida area, an
Enterprise Applications Executive (EAE)
The Enterprise Applications Executive will provide leadership for developing, implementing, and maintaining information technology initiatives. Reporting directly to our client's CIO, this position will have a span of control over several directorates and facets of the data/systems/applications of the IT department of this growing organization.
The EAE directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of business operations in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality and efficiencies, as well as business development.
The EAE will work closely with CIO to define the strategy and leverage shared services, where applicable. The EAE will oversee the establishment of COE's for Commerce Systems including POS (Point of Sale), Merchandise / Supply Chain, Ticketing and eCommerce applications.
The EAE will ultimately be responsible for Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP ), Customer Relationship Management ( CRM ).
This client is forward-looking and is seeking someone with a collaborative mindset that can assess current technology and can make experience-based recommendations to the functional area stakeholders, upper management and peers.
Responsibilities:
--Oversee a team of directors and managers that are responsible for several IT practice areas. Sales (bricks and mortar & ecommerce), ERP upgrades and potential implementations, Back office applications, Analysis/QA and for data-centric practice areas.
--Work with company stakeholders on their intended application needs and be able to collaborate a jointly viable solution. Must be receptive to input and be able to manage expectations. Coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology.

Required Qualifications
In order to be considered a viable candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
-- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in an IT function supporting systems across multiple platforms.
-- Must have been in a roll-up the sleeves, hands-on IT contributor within the last 5-7 years. We are seeking someone with grass roots experience that has risen through the ranks. -- 5+ years of demonstrated leadership managing cross-functional teams and projects.
-- Must have retail/hospitality, eCommerce, and heavy POS experience.
-- Responsibility for a retail/restaurant/hospitality organization that is at least a Level 2 PCI merchant. -- Must have experience operating as Vice President or Director role in an enterprise IT commercial concern with accountability to senior executive leadership.
-- Must have had success in prior responsibility for at least three of the following areas: Application Development, ERP, CRM, Sales, Analysis/QA, data management, project planning, etc. -- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage an IT organization of 20+ employees that has a positive measurable impact on revenue, costs, retention, productivity, and communications across all company divisions.
-- Strong track record of technical knowledge and accomplishments in strategic planning, problem analysis, and resolution as a member of the senior management team. Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems.
-- Insure that the commerce applications are tested and verified as a critical component of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
-- Customer focused, and be able to nimbly respond and adapt to vastly changing business-driven directives. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality results within tight time frames, while simultaneously managing several projects.
-- Identify, evaluate, and execute new and innovative solutions and technologies that have proven results in the market pertaining to profitability, competitive advantage, cost savings, and ability to positively position the IT department to support company growth. Establish infrastructure to support and guide divisions/departments in computing and technology efforts. Assess and recommend improvements on re-engineering of the IT model as it pertains to business initiatives.
-- A self-starter, proactive, and highly disciplined in time management and meeting deadlines; a skilled multi-tasker, able to work on a large number of technical projects at different stages of the development life cycle. Strong knowledge of information architecture and usability standards.
-- Solid communication and writing skills, including the ability to communicate with internal clients about technical and creative issues, as needed. Accustomed to presenting to C-Level executives.
