We are seeking aPLANT MANAGERfor ourKissimmee, Floridafacility. The plant operates 24/7 with a 50-person, non-union workforce. On site equipment includes high-pressure injection molding presses. The products being produced are containers for the food, beverage, and environmental industries. He/she is responsible for the day to day operations of the facility, including planing, developing and implementing organizational policies, developing a high performance workforce and a flexible manufacturing system to meet changing customer needs.
Job Requirements : The ideal candidate will come from a large Tier1/Tier2 supplier to the automobile industry, or a large heavy industrial manufacturing company. Plastic Injection Molding experience preferred.
Qualified candidates will: * Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business. Advanced degree desired. * Have a minimum of seven years of experience in a similar plant management level role. * Have a successful track record in implementing strategies for cost reduction, quality improvement and on-time delivery. * Be experienced using Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles. * Have excellent communication and employee development skills.
