Senior Accountant
Kforce is seeking a Senior Accountant that will report to the Director of Accounting / Controller. In their Accounting Department work directly with the Director of Accounting / Controller and Chief Accounting Officer to help oversee and coordinate the daily accounting processes and general ledger activities.
Essential Job Functions: * Be responsible for certain journal entries and account reconciliations * This position will also partner with peers in the month, quarter, and year-end close activities and help to ensure that all departmental deadlines are met * Be responsible for assisting in the preparation of internal and external reporting including, but not limited to audit schedules, financial statements, and SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K) * Be responsible for preparing the detailed reports required to complete our internal and external reporting * Perform certain critical and confidential calculations and processes * Take the lead on projects throughout the year that are determined to benefit the Organization * Produce ad hoc reports and/or analyses for the Executive Team as needed
