Ensures that appropriate project management practices, procedures, and programs are established and implemented to successfully control project scope and to initiate and complete the project as planned. Act as a single point contact for Steam Turbine Department to provide effective communication within project team, Customer and outside contractors. Must have 10 - 12 year power industry experience with 7 years leading project teams based generation technologies. Must have proven experience in Risk and cost Management Must have the ability to analyze complex technical and management problems and determine the most cost-effective solutions. Must have detailed working knowledge of power plant design, construction, and commissioning techniques and practices Strong management, leadership, verbal and written communications skills PMP certification desired

Designs and develops technical project/program opportunities. Leads project/program management role (definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource allocation management) for most complex projects or programs. Provides technical project/program design review leadership. Designs and leads continuous improvement and project/program expansion opportunities. May cultivate client relationships and sales opportunities.
Education: BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for area managed and good knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact. Demonstrates full understanding and application of management approaches for work direction, motivation, and performance management. Typically 10+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
